Hi Everyone, Newbie here searching for help. I have been diagnosed by my GP and an orthopedic Dr. as having hip bursitis. This happened a few months ago and after a cortisone shot and a bit of time pain eventually got much better. However it returned about
2 months ago with a vengeance. My GP referred me to an orthopedic and they both agree it is bursitis of the hip. The orthopedic dr. gave me a cortisone injections as close to the most painful spot as possible last Thursday. As of yet, no relief. He said it might take a few days, so I am praying I will feel relief soon. I can't take any type of NSAID'S due to previous issues with them causing bleeding ulcers. Does anyone have any suggestions, input, etc.? Any advice. thoughts or prayers, much appreciated...thanks in advance. I suppose my most important question is, if you had a cortisone shot for this, how long before you felt relief. I am praying it has not been long enough yet.
