Hi Shadowsfall, I am a little confused, you say the xrays showed osteoporosis? Or did you mean to type osteoarthritis, there is a big difference between the two conditions. Osteoarthritis is a wear & tear type of arthritis & part of the natural aging process. It can hit someone 30 years old, sometimes family history can play a role or over use & injury. My daughter ran track in school, both of her knees are bad & she is young too.
Since you have other symptoms listed I urge you to get established with a primary physician. Walk in clinics are ok for the minor situations that need medical attention if the regular is not available. It sounds like you need to have a good physical done with a primary dr.
Let us know what the ortho has to say, hopefully you will get some answers.
