i had thumb replacement surgery for OA in july of 2011...i now have thick ridges of "something" on the palm of my hand...i think they might be nerves because if i accidentally hit or bump them it is quite painful...is this normal? anybody else? i know i should call doc but then he'll say come in & spend $$...suggestions...thanks much

Welcome to HealingWell. I do not know what caused thick ridges other then ?? scar tissue. I would bite the bullet on this one and get checked out by your Dr.

Let us know what you find out.
