Missing my knees.

My knees have decided to start to give up. I have to grab arm rests and push myself up onto my feet to stand and then the pain is miserable. I started voltaren gel today so I hope it gets better. As it stands right now if I sat on the floor I wouldn't be able to get up. My knees lock and just don't let me make it to a standing positions.
I was sitting on the floor earlier and I thought my kitty was going to help me. She nuzzled my chin, meowed, and then let the stinkiest fart. Right about then I was really wish I could stand. Lol

My mother is also through the same situation she has been totally bed ridden and we are all supporting her for a simple activity. She just can’t make to get up from the bed as the pain is so severe.
