Hi
I would like some advice.
I am 42 years old and fairly active. My "sport" is canoeing and I do long 42 km paddle races.
When I was 18 I tore my ACL in my right knee and it was stapled back together and since then I have been fine.
However 2 months ago I went water skiing and 2 days later my knee swelled up to twice the size. I have had an MRI and the surgeon is recommending Microfracture. However in the 2 months waiting for an appointment the swelling in my knee has gone down and I am in no pain although I have not been running.
I see that Microfracture is not 100% successful and I do not know whether I should go ahead or not.
Please can anyone who has had the procedure let me know what they think?
Thanks
