Hi. I'm 50 and have just been told that I need a THR, which didn't come as a big surprise really as my pain has been increasing slowly over the last couple of years. My consultant is Mr Marc Paterson at the Haywards Heath Orthopedic centre. He looks good on paper, but I was just wondering if anyone here had been operated on by him and if so, how did it go. I hope you are bonding with your medical person that is advising you on your need for hip replacement. It is always good to talk to others who have been under this person's care.
