Stem cell therapy

Hi I am considering having stem cells removed from my hip and re injected into my knee. Has anyone been thru this process? I find it difficult getting an open minded discussion from professionals as they are either for or against it for their own monetary reasons. I'm looking for a way to avoid knee replacement in later years as i am not quite bad enough yet for a replacement but will be as the years go bye as will my health status.
