So many things to consider and be mindful of... Thankfully, I've been brought up to live an active lifestyle, but I still worry that there is plenty of "money left on the table" with respect to preparation. I play soccer regularly (heading out for my Monday game shortly!) and while I'm told that impact sports can help with maintaining bone density, I notice the effects that it is having on my knees and other joints.
