rolleyes  I am not even 50 yet and suffer from arthritis in the back of my neck , it effects my thinking my whole life it totally sucks .

I am a single lady trying to figure where the best place for me to live in what State so that it  would help me manage my pain it being a  dry climate  for me to be more active live a much better happier life then what I am living now living in Washington State that rains and is overcast majority of the year which I hate it is too depressing to deal with at times . 

I can always predict when it is going to rain a few days ahead because that's when my pain kicks in and I suffer .

I love the Southwest area Nevada , Arizona unsure of need to study more on the pro's and con's of Arizona to see before  I totally rule it out .

 Southern California maybe but I don't know yet just trying to live my life and control it not my pain controlling me anymore .

If any one has any comments please help me figure what is the best place to live suffering from arthritis .

Hello MEhatepain. I do too!!

I've recently joined this site and have mostly stayed in the chronic pain area. It's more active. I also deal with osteoarthritis. I have had a toe joint replaced, then knee joint plus an injection in the other knee that's helped it for over 2 years. Most recently I had pain in my neck that resulted in C 3-7 fusion six months ago. I'm still in recovery from that. PT helps a lot, all over not just my neck.

I've read another discussion here about which state is best for this pain. Florida, California, Arizona and Texas were all mentioned. It was decided that we are all different and just need to visit and see how we feel. I hope you can find a place that allows you to be more comfortable.
