Hi, I remember doing those exercises when I got my total knee replacement on my left side.
I did lose a bit of weight recently but not enough. I was born with hammer toes and my feet are very bad and it is hard for me to walk. I try to do some exercise every day. Try to walk around the supermarket or store and also park away from the stores when I can. Also have to walk upstairs when ever I go out, carry up groceries. Our laundry machine is downstairs too, so have to walk up and down with that too.
I do enjoy swimming and eat a very good diet. The only way I found to lose any weight is lots of liquids (sugar free ones).
I have found the "gel" knee injections very helpful. Have done really well with cortisone hots too.
