LRTI was done 11 days ago and the procedure went well. Other than the night of the procedure, I managed to stay ahead of the pain and have not taken any pain meds at all in the last 3 days. Suture removal and fiberglass cast was applied yesterday, so much easier to manage. The joint is healing normally and I have full range of movement in my fingers. This cast will stay on for 3 weeks, then transfer to splint, and hopefully, start physical therapy.
All-in-all, it has been a pretty easy road thus far, I am back to work and keyboarding all day. The biggest adjustment is being one-handed, and left-handed (I am right-dominate). That's just a matter of adjustment and learning. Hopefully, it keeps going as well as it has up until now!
