Have two grandchildren with multiple allergies. Severe asthma is only one. Also allergic to Wheat, soy, eggs, all forms of dairy, nuts and some fruits. Now just discovered the source of constant gastrointestinal problems. Allergic to chicken, beef and pork! Children eat chicken all the time, 3 year old has up to today enjoyed(?) soy milk as he did not seem to have an allergic reaction to it. 5 year old drinks only Rice milk and is highly allergic to soy. Now both must drink Rice milk or an extremely expensive formula which tastes AWFUL. It is what they both were given around 9 mos. when mom stopped nursing. Not sure what we will be able to feed them now as they are not excited about vegetables. Broccoli, both like. Corn okay, and youngest loves peas while his brother does not. Tomatoes are not liked and green beans are also on the no list. The little fish the boys eat is the bad kind, corn meal battered and fried.
Mom and I are both at desperation point for meal ideas. Allergist did not test for reaction to beans but only the 5 year old likes them at this time. Afraid to have 3 year old tested for fear he will be allergic.
Any ideas for meals? Truly need help.
Thanks.
