Red nose from allergies or rosacea?

Hello,
I have been suffering from a red nose. My allergies are very bad and my nose is stuffed up and swollen. My GP said that people don't usually get red noses from allergies unless it is from rubbing your nose. She mentioned that maybe I have rosacea. I don't think that is the case but am unsure. My nose/face/chest get very red after a shower and exercise (I have urticaria and dermagraphism urticaria. Is it possible that my red nose is from my allergies and not rosacea? I am very upset about this and could use any feedback/help.
I also have a lot of pressure in my face and ears. I also get flushing on my chest which my doctor believes is a form of hives because it stings and is warm to the touch.

I would look more into with your doctor. I usually get red nose when my allergies are bad but doesnt last too long and it mostly caused by rubbing my nose a lot.

Oh really? I will look into more with my doctor. My nose seems to be red on and off throughout the day. Thank you.

It may be part of your uticaria. Everyone in my family has horrible allergies and our noses don't get red unless we rub them or blow them.
When you nose gets red, do you take note of what you're doing or what you're eating to see if there is a common link?
The reason I ask is because I have Rosacea and I find that when I do certain things or eat certain things, it makes my nose get redder than normal. But definitely go back to the doctor and find out the possible causes.

Hi Sherry,

Thanks for your message. When I went to the dr. Yesterday, she said that she thinks I have a sinus infection because my nose was very swollen inside. She was not sure if that is the cause of my redness.

I am hoping that it's all apart of my urrticaria and my nerves (I suffer from anxiety and depression). It seems that if I look in the mirror and my nose is only a little red, I make myself blush from anxiety so it gets redder. I guess I will just keep an eye on it and try not to worry although that's easier said than done.
