If you mean the bottle you fill with your own saline, I like it a LOT better than the Pot. The pot just pours. The bottle can squeeze enough pressure to actually get into the sinuses. I've had the surgery and have to use it every day.
The ordinary squeeze bottle that you buy filled and just gives a little spray just moisturizes the nostrils a little, fo me doesn't get into the sinuses.
One annoying thing about
the refillable bottle is your maxillary sinuses will drain again a couple of times when you tip your head forward. That's because the
opening to them is on the top, not the bottom like the other sinuses. It can be embarassing if you're not expecting it. Carry a tissue!
My allergist says you can buy the salt packets if you want, but she has us just using a half tsp salt and a pinch of baking soda. The packages are nice for travelling.
PS: if you are using just water, that is why your nose stings.
