Hi Tayles
Thanks for sharing what you did. It was really helpfull and like you said just knowing that someone else has been there gives alot of comfort.
I use Aqueous cream instead of soap and take Loratadine, Promethazine and Chlorphenamine to deal with an attack. Like you have done I should look at my diet and try to do more to help myself that way.
I think also my allergy reaction can be stressed related. When I have the tempreture skin reaction whilst I do genuinely feel terrible I am also panicing. My last one was a bout two weeks ago. I was on my way to meet a friend, about a 20 minute walk but I had to keep stopping and sit down to try to subtly sooth my very hot and burning skin. But also I had to stop just to try and calm myself down. It was so bad I just wanted to approach a passerby and say 'please help me, my skins on fire and I need water on it now'.
I think because I know it wouldn't be socially acceptable to stop someone and ask for help that that also makes me panic. In the end I managed to find a chemist, burst into tears and explain what I needed. I was ok after about 20 mins. I felt so stupid for leaving the house and forgetting to take my tabs with me. Now their by my front door keys so I never forget.
Anyway sorry to go on. Thanks for being there.
