Running with asthma medicine

Hey guys, I'm new here but I need some advice with asthma medicine and running.

I am looking for an otc asthma medicine to help me breathe easier while running. I need to past a running test and I'm too fat and lazy to put down my video games and big gulp to train for it. I don't really have asthma, well I don't have asthma, but that shouldn't be a deterrent for you to not help me accomplish my goals. Thanks for the advice guys and from one person w/o asthma who can't breathe and run to people on here who can't breathe I thank you for your help. May God be with you!

Bobbie, you're kidding right??? First of all, there is NO otc asthma medication and personally I find your post quite offensive. We have people on here battling DEATH on a daily basis, people that have asthma who have a very real difficult time just BREATHING...not because they are lazy but because of a disease. They battle EVERY SINGLE DAY of their life just to breath and you come on here and say that you can't breath because you can't put down your video games or Big Gulp?? Dude, get real! Put down the video games, the Big Gulp and whatever fast food you consume and get off the couch and become active.

I agree with Sherry. Why put meds in you if you don't need them? It will hurt in the long run...
Be thankful you don't have asthma! It can kill us if we don't take care of it, and some people have died from it.

If he's a troll, he's being cruel, insensitive and needs to find better things to do with his time.

If he's not a troll, he needs to get out there and exercise. Being overweight and having a sedate life style is not healthy.

I'm not being a troll.

I was told by somebody who is on asthma medicine to take some before the run and it will help me. She's out of the country for a bit so I can't ask her what to take.

Never take a medicine that is not designed for your health needs. You don't have asthma and the only way you have to be able to breath better is to become active. No it's not easy, in fact it's very difficult but one step at a time will help you achieve your goals.
