Have you been living in the same place this whole time? Do you cover your mattress with an allergy cover? How about your pillows? I've had increased allergy symptoms depending on which apartment I was in at the time. You may have mold in your place that you're not aware of which is making you sick. I just had my third round of allergy testing, which included blood tests for the first time..... I always knew I was allergic to mold, pollen, dust mites, and most animals, but now I discover that I have food allergies too.... milk, wheat, yeast, and egg white. I made the mistake of raking and bagging leaves last fall, and have had worsening symptoms ever since. Turns out I inhaled mold/yeast, have been harboring a yeast infection for the past several months... and I'm allergic to the yeast! In the past, I've had viruses I was allergic to, been allergic to drugs, and have noticed concomitant food allergies (can't eat melon ever, vinegar makes me sick when I'm having mold allergy problems, etc.). Go to a good allergist who does blood testing and better skin testing. I took allergy shots for 17 years based on two skin-prick tests, and I still have really bad allergies. My brother missed half a year of high school with symptoms similar to yours.... he couldn't get out of bed for months. They finally figured out he had lots of allergies, he started getting shots, and he was better. My experience is that ENTs don't know enough about allergies to be useful.
