Have you tried taking prilosec daily? Of course, you can take the generic brand.... however, despite the fact that your endoscopy came back looking normal... prilosec may help calm your stomach. It may be that your having some sort of acid issues during the night/day and trying it may not hurt.
I know that whenever I've had an upset stomach/issues with vomitting or acid reflux, my asthma is worse. I've had asthma pretty much my entire life (diagnosed as a toddler and I am 20 now) so there is defnitely a lot of things that I've experienced over the years that can, suprisingly, affect my asthma.
Like I said, trying the prilosec probably wouldn't hurt; however, being a regular at the GI office... I can assure you that they'll probably want you to check in with them(or your PCP) before starting anything. If you do decide to try it... give it at least a couple of weeks.
Also, have you tried eliminating certain foods from your diet? Acidic foods? Super processed foods? Dairy? It seems as though your stomach is what is irritated (hence the spitting up) and that can definitely affect your asthma.
Best of luck,
Jade
