Thanks for the encouragement. I really appreciate the support!
I am not seeing a cardiologist because I know it isn't my heart. I have a mineral dust in my lungs that is like asbestos, but harder and acts different from asthma in many ways. (Also, I have done a lot of research and used the webmd sympton checker. when I put in all the symptoms and triggers associated with this pain, the top reasons are all lung-related)
It is my lungs and the recurring Santa Ana winds that bring dirt, pollution, mold and particulates out to the coast. This bout of pain started about
12 hours after the winds came back last week. It also get slightly worse with exertion, but leads to a breathing attack. The winds are due back in a few days too. So I guess it's time to call the pulmonologist again. I just went 3 weeks ago.
