height 5'9
I have GERD
I been to the emergency room 2 times with chest and arm pain the first time i went they did a EKG on me and doctor said all u have is GERD no heart attack 4 days later i went back with pain in the chest arm and the feeling of something stuck in my chest the doctor did another EKG a chest X-Ray and some blood work he said both EKG and x-ray were fine nothing with my heart and gave me Maalox
A week later i went to the Clinic told then the same thing all they did was a EKG and said i have to loose weight and more blood work I told the doctor why the feeling of something stuck in my chest all he said is ama give you Prilosec for 3 months I keep on feeling the pain on my chest the feeling of something stuck in my chest i lost my appetite i keep on worrying what's going on why do i feel this do i need to go back even though they tell me im ok? I would walk one hour a day and not feel nothing now i walk 3 blocks and my chest hurts. I usually feel irregular heart beats, when I wake up I feel my mouth dry i want to know whats going on? I WORRY A LOT WHAT IF I DO HAVE SOMETHING IN MY HEART WHY DO I FEEL LIKE THIS IS THIS OK SHOULD I BE WORRIED THE PAIN DOESN'T GO AWAY ? HELP!!!!!

At 16 you are smart enough to find this forum, but you should have a parent looking out for you. Remember that forums, including this one, are just a bunch of people off the street, not doctors. We have no medical education. We're just telling our experiences, which may have nothing to do with your situation.

I think you should go back to the clinic to let them know if the Prilosec is working. If it's not then they might send you to a couple of specialists, a cardiologist and a gastroenterologist, for further workup.

I had chest pain and tiredness after walking a short distance for a few years. Then I had a heart attack. I was older than you, but I was 100 lbs less overweight. I had arteries clogged by cholesterol plaque.

What was the result of your blood work? Did they check your cholesterol? If it's high you can still reverse the clogging effects by not eating bread and drinking sodas. At least that's all I had to do. It's not about avoiding eating cholesterol. Your liver takes carbohydrates (bread) and turns it into cholesterol. I hardly eat any wheat at all now and I can feel my arteries are cleaner than they've been for many years. My cardiologist calls me the poster child for lowering cholesterol.

I would suggest getting a regular doctor, a family doctor, not just a specialist. He will investigate ALL your symptoms, probably cheaper than a clinic or specialists. You need to see the same doctor most of the time, who knows your history.

Thanks for your reply i have a appointment on tuesday but every time i go they always tell me the same thing is not your heart its not your heart its not your heart which really idk im scared they tell that if it was my heart it wouldve shown in the EKG or the chest x-ray they say its just anxiety but i never had that b4

I dont eat junk food nomore I been in a diet for 3 weeks water vegetables and fruits I really dont wanna exercise cause im scared to have a heart attack I wanna speak to the doctor first and then see what happens.
