I am very sick of this disease. Most of the time I just accept the huffiness and fatigue but NOW I am in the throws of a flare up.
Just have tried to do everything right but it seems to just delay the process.
Basically I am bone tired and made an appointment with the doc today.
best wishes to all

Well had to have a treatment and must use proair. The good news is that the lung xray was normal but the bad news is that if I don't improve in a few days, will have to take predisone. I don't like that stuff.
Thanks for your concern.

Well, I am still sick. Luckily I am retired and can rest a lot. Don't want to take prednesone because it makes me hyper.
Two weeks is not enough time for me to get well. If it is over four weeks, I will go back and see what's what.
sorry longen you are not doing well. it is a terrible shame.

Sorry to hear about
your flare up. Mine started in November and has only recently begun to improve. I think mine is weather related and also due to sickness. I work at a school and there are often sick people. Sort of tough to avoid.
I don't have any experience with Prednisone but that is a drag if it makes you hyper. I have taken meds that gave me hyperactivity and that is pretty bad.
I am one of those people that doctors can't really do much for, since I have been unable to take most asthma and allergy remedies due to side effects and reactions to the chemicals.
I have started reading about
the buteyko breathing method and this has helped me personally.
I hope you find some relief from your condition and that you get some rest and comfort and get better real soon. =-)

thank you Fuyuko. I am also allergic to drugs and super sensitive to drugs. I never did get much help ever since I left my wonderful allergist in New York City. He was grade A. Nobody here in the Albany New York is super good at this stuff. Saturday was the worse with muscle pains. I have two more days on prnesizone (spelling) and then I can lower the amount.
It is a weird combination of restlessness and fatigue.
I do okay with advair and pro-air but it was not enough and now I took a gel caps for a hacking cough and still very breathless so hope to do better with prnesizone. Can not take antibiotics because that's a fast cure and after thirty years ... they make me very sick.
I will try to blow out a candle as a breathing exercise and see if that helps.
So long folks and stay out of the blizzard if possible.
