Hi everyone
On December 2013 I got a really bad flu, it was the worst one I have ever had in my life. I was coughing for almost 2 months and developed chest infection. I was not able to sleep at night. My doctor gave me a 5 days course of antibiotics.
On January 2014, I could feel my breathing was not same as before. It got really bad on May and I had to see my Dr again and he sent me through many different tests to diagnose the problem. I had twice X-ray, CT scan from my chest, Spirometry, blood test and heart echocardiogram and all came back normal.
I have seen 5 different specialist in the past 2 years but they can’t find the problem.
I tried all sorts of inhalers, singular, herbal medications, acid reflux pills and even Xanax but they don’t work!
I am wheezing sometimes only when I inhale not exhale. Breathing never gets perfect it's just changing from bad to worse. I struggle getting that completed breath and need to yawn all the time.
Has any of you experienced long term or permanent shortness of breath after a cold?
Thanks
