Yeah, I had a gastro appointment scheduled but they had to reschedule it and said it would probably be after Christmas, so I decided to just start going to an internal medicine clinic. I haven't seen a gastroenterologist but the doctors I've seen have said they don't see a lot of symptoms of any specific GI issue. I have a lot of general symptoms that don't fit in with anything like IBS, Crohn's, ulcers, etc.
The last doctor I saw said I might be getting gas because of a slight case of lactose intolerance, or because I have started eating more vegetables and other foods with fiber. But I also talked to someone on another forum who has a post nasal drip from mold exposure (I had mold in my apartment) and has a lot of gas. Also, a doctor I saw a few months ago said swallowing mucus can really irritate your stomach.
I was taking an Allegra every day and I stopped, but I've started again and in the past few days I haven't had many problems with gas. But I'm not sure if it's because of that or because I haven't been eating as many vegetables.
