Postnasal Drip causing tight throat?

Hi. I'm sorry to be posting again on here. I was wondering, those of you who have postnasal drip, does it cause your throat to be tight? I can breath fine, but the tight feeling makes me anxious. Do you have any tips to make post nasal drip better? I'm taking mucus thinners and drinking TONS of water, as recommended by my ENT.

I have been diagnosed with GERD by an ENT. They put me on acid reducers. That seems to be helping a bit. He did look down my throat when I was having lots of tightness, and he said that it wasn't closing up, but that i did have a lot of music in my throat.
