Alpha Gal Allergies

I just have a quick question. I’m new on here as I was just recently sent to an allergist for testing due to severe hives and asthmatic attacks. Hi I have found out that it is from meat, but I’m not allergic to red meats on the testing. I only have a slightly elevated alpha gal number. The number is 0.18 on the scale. My allergist told me not to worry about it and didn’t seem concerned at all. But my own research is how I found the reactions within the timeframe of the alpha gal. So I guess my question is, does anyone have such a slight elevation in the alpha gal testing but still have severe reactions?
