There are tons of pages on sulfite allergy in the archives. Just put some keywords in the box at the top right next to the question mark.
#1 thing to do is start a food journal. Write down everything you eat or drink and your reactions, even a few days later.
https://www.learningtarget.com/nosulfites/index.htm - a great website for you to learn everything you need to know to get started avoiding your allergens. The book is online free, but there is also a paper book available with huge index of amounts of sulfite in foods and medicines.
If you are traveling you probably can't cook everything yourself, which is the only way to really control the amount of sulfite you ingest. So, read the part of Rick's book that shows you how to calculate your tolerance. I'm not horribly intolerant, with a maximum level of 2000 micrograms sulfite a day. But my reaction is life-threatening, tachycardia that has sent me to the hospital many times, including needing to get my heart rate chemically reset.
