Constant Low-Grade Fever After Kissing

Hello,

I met a girl last Saturday, we kissed,

at the same day i got this fatigue, the next day and untill now, i have this fatigue and 37.4 degree celcius fever.

i am taking Amoxocillin and Paracetamol, they dont make me well.

I think at night the fever goes away, but in the morning i feel this heat under my skin, in my arms and legs sometimes.

Can anyone please help me and tell me what is that?

PS:

I never had low grade fever before and actually i was always 36.5 degrees celcius.

Hi there and welcome to HW......I doubt that kissing a girl cause you an infection on the very same day. Most infections don't take hold for at least a few days. Kissing this girl and then getting sick could be just a coincidence. Is your abdomen tender at all? Did you go to the doctor, I'm assuming yes since you are on Amoxicillin?

I was taking the Amoxocillin on my own, but i went to the doctor today and he told me to stop it and see what will happen(!)

I know it's not possible to be having an infection, but then why do i have some fever? what is body fighting?!

I was thinking maybe i have Infectious Mono. or maybe herpes simplex and these are just early symptoms?

Unless you were exposed before this time, the incubation period for Mono is 30 to 50 days. A mild fever can be a number of things. It can be just a little virus going around and it will resolve on it's own. My advice: Take some Tylonel and get some rest smile

Actually this is what i thought, a virus going around in my body, coz i feel this heat that moves from different places in my body
when i told the doctor that the virus is going around in my body and that the white cells are running after him ( the fever ), he made fun of me and kept laughing :D haha
