I don't mean to jump forums, but when I seen this post it really hit home with me. I have CFS and MCS do to chemicals as I was a autobody painter and exposed to all kinds of chemicals in doing so, I had a time when I had a overload of work that needed to be done, working 12 to 16hrs a day in a poorly vented room upon doing so for 3 weeks straight my body shut down and I was taken to the ER.
Upon taking blood work thay had found chemicals in both blood and urine work, and rashs on my legs and arms from bring overexposed to the chemicals I worked with. Pryer to this I had a physical done 4 to 6 month pryer to this as I wasn't feeling good and had rashes still on me do to an overload of work at the time, but as things slowed down I started feeling better and the rashes had gone and was feeling better all around. In Aug. I then went hunting for Caribou and we dropped 9 off them and was able to pack out my part to the planes without a problem, then came all the overtime, I had more work then I have ever had to do in my life.
Like I had said I was overexposed to the chemicals and dropped like a rock, I then took a week off from work to recoup, per pdoc request in follow up I did this and upon returning to work I ended up back in the ER, rested some more and again returned to work and again ended up in the ER and at that time I was told I could never return to that kind of work again.
But in the meantime I was having Panic Attacks, Agoraphobia, CFS, MCS, and had been diagnosed with CNS damage do to the chemicals after miny testing. Even after 13yrs I still have found little relief from it all, and even the smallest amount of chemicals I have a reaction to much like that of an allergic reaction to like allergies just from the air around me and now must live in a so called safe house from chemicals and away from the city's and the smog.
I just hope that someone will understand that the chemicals that we must live with are hurting us in the long run as I'm living prof of it
