Wasn't sure exactly where to post this, but I used Google to find out some stuff for something I noticed just now, and ended up finding a topic in here.
Okay, so, I SEEM to have a bump under my eyelid, although there is no actual bump, it's more or less just swelling, but it isn't a major thing I don't think, as it's swelled only a tiny bit outwards rather than into a large bump and whatnot, but with my family's past clinical history, I want to be sure.
I mean, yesterday, my dad was tampering with the drainage pipe, because it's leaking, and he was pulling insulation out all over, and I got a bit in my eye, but I thought I got it out. I wasn't able to get to the washroom due to our narrow hallway, a ladder being right in the middle, and insulation covering half of it, so I didn't bother to wash my eye, and by the time we finished up for the night, I had forgotten.
Please, could someone give me some info on this? I'd rather go to a doctor, but I just got a check-up two days ago, so I know it's just started, and would like opinions first. My eye wasn't bugging me before the insulation though, and I didn't notice it until now, as I fell asleep on the couch and just woke up and it had swelled. And my girlfriend obviously didn't notice it, we were hanging out most of the day.
So, yeah, I'd REALLY like some info. I'm not exactly the happiest kid ever, and I don't want to have something big already, I'm only 14. I've already had my leg broken twice in the past two years, and I think I've had enough pain for a few more. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
EDIT: Oh gosh, I seem to have forgotten specific details! Well, it's more along the outer edge of my left eye, under my top eyelid, and it's only swelled out a bit, and it's painful to the touch, and if I close my eye, it hurts for a split second, and then it's gone.
EDIT 2: Alright, after a bit of time, I've just now noticed a bump in the corner of my left eye, but it's rather small. So I'm assuming it's a sty of sorts, but I'm not sure. Mom had one a couple years back, but it went away. I know how to treat them, but what do you think it is?
