Is it better to use MDI inhaler or with spacer?

You have a good question and it depends on the MDI your using. With Advair a spacer is not needed. Have you asked your local pharmacy for help in this matter as they also, sell spacers and some spacers require a prescription from your Doctor. I once had a doctor once tell me to use the cardboard roll from a finished toilet tissue roll as a make shift spacer. Wish I could be of more help to you.
I wish you lots of luck and hope you can find a good spacer for you. I was switched to asmanex and it does not require a spacer, plus it counts the puffs down as well...kinda neat!
