eye infection

hey you guys, i have a question.
my brother has a lump on the bottom of his eye lid. and im pretty sure its not a stye or anything like that? i looked it up but i havent found anything about it. he's had it for a while, but he hasnt mentioned anything about it to me until now.
its a big lump under his eye on the bottom eye lid. i pulled his eyelid down and something came out. but its connected to the inside. its like a black thing with blood or something filled inside. when it came out i got scared so i let go, and my brother just pushed it back in. its soft and doesnt hurt him. he says it feels like hair is in his eye. but it dont hurt.
does anybody know what it is?

I would go to an eye doctor...my bf had a lump on his upper eye lid that was there for a while and it didnt bother him but it kept getting bigger. So we went to the eye doctor and it was full of puss and blood. But I would recommend letting an eye doctor look at it and removing the puss or whatever from inside b/c if that gets in your eye it can cause a serious eye infection. Good Luck!
