I asked this question over on the Migraine forum and someone suggested it could be allergies. I'm hoping someone here can help.
I am taking Topomax at night and it has seemed to really keep my migraines under control. I only have one every once in a while. But I don't know what to do about air fresheners. I can only use Lysol in my home and Vanilla Candles. Anything else sends me into a dizzy spell that leads to a migraine. The same thing happens around dried flowers, orange peel, orange scented cleaning solution and real Christmas trees. Not to mention blooming flowers. Am I doomed? The reason I am seeking help here is, I have learned what cleaners and air fresheners to use at home. But the interior decorator for work came in today and left a large arrangement of dried flowers and another large bowl of dried orange slices. I don't know if I should mention it to my manager or not. She knows about my condition and has actually changed her perfume, but is this that major? I have felt dizzy since it was delivered, but is it really affecting me or is it in my head? Thanks in advance.
