gluten allergy - rash

anyone here is allergic to gluten? all my life I dont eat bread, but lately because I want to improve my health, I start eating wheat bread, and my shin start having these red itch rashes. its so itch that I was so afraid for a while, i did some research online and this is what I think is causing it. I got gastritis for a few months now, I dont know if that has anything to do with it since i am not digestion food that well due to it, anyone has the same experience?

Gastritis and skin rashes can certainly be caused by a gluten allergy or by Celiac Disease. You may want to get tested for anti-gliadin IgA antibodies and anti-gliadin IgG antibodies, as well as wheat IgE antibodies.
There are healthy alternatives to wheat bread, such as multigrain gluten-free breads - check your local health food store or search online (see http://gfmall.com/ ). Or you might try Ezekiel bread instead (made from sprouted grains only, no flour).
