confused  so sad the allergies wont stop bothering me, hoou guys here?

Yeah, mine too...I've had to take Benadryl more than usual. That's on top of the steroid nasal inhaler and the daily Claritin...

Ive been getting more allergy migraines than normal. I have had one since tuesday, its wee hours saturday.

My allergies have been off the charts again this spring. I switch to xyzal, and hoped that it would help me enough to avoid the problems I had last year. No such luck. My nasal allergies are fairly well controlled with nasal washings, Astelin antihistamine spray, and Flonase steroid spray. I've still had some problems, but they're "livable".

My lungs are not so lucky. I started having throat and lung symptoms, and they've got progressively worse. I've been forced to go back on an antibiotic and prednosone. It is getting really old.
Anybody else having severe lung reactions to tree pollen?

I'm back to leaving my classroom windows closed, using a fan, and not going outside with my class for playtime. It's so frustrating!

It is an awful season this year. Claritan is better for me than zyrtec but neither really do the job. My kids are suffering too. One is on claritan, an antibiotic and musinex and then got a nose bleed too. She is so dry. It is horrible. We have air purifiers too, I am at a loss as what to do next. I guess just wait it out. UGH!!!

Last year and this year, spring allergies are out of control. I don't understand it...although I did read that global warming is causing a longer and more severe allergy season. Also that the plants are making more pollen because of increased CO2.
I hope we all find a way to find relief!

The male trees are the polinators that's why so much pollen.....

You're funny!  Guess you've got to laugh about it...there's no way of avoiding the pollen short of never going outside.  It's tough when you're invited to picnics, etc. I'll be the one sitting in the kitchen.   Oh well.  I'm taking my students on a field trip to a woods on Wednesday.  Hmmmmm.  Ought to be interesting.  I'll be wearing a mask except for lunchtime.
