Find the hot humid days are just about killing me.  Feel like a wet noodle.  Anybody else? cry

Hi, Joan,

Humid weather can be tough to deal with.  Besides being so incredibly uncomfortable, it tends to exacerbate some health conditions.  That is why I am glad I have a pool!  I go in it as often as I can.  The rest of my time is spent in air-conditioning.

I'm not sure where you live, but fall will be here before you know it.  That is my favorite time of year with its cool, crisp temperatures.  Take heart; it will be here before you know it.  yeah

Ugh! Fall. My allergy season. Trash burning.... Leaves burning.... lungs burning.
I like the cool air, but I suffer until everyone stops burning leaves.

Fall is allergy season for me, too. But the cool weather, beautiful fall foliage, lower humidity, & anticipation of Thanksgiving are all benefits that far outweigh any negatives about the fall season for me. I prefer to look on the bright side of things, Joy!

I live in upstate New York with gorgeous foliage coming soon. It is also my favorite time of year. I don't see too much leaf burning around here. It may be against the law. I love the crispness of the fall...even winter is ok. It is the hot humid weather which passed yesterday that leaves me limp.

I used to live in New Jersey (live in Tennessee now).  I lived in the northern part of NJ for most of my life, then moved to the central part later.  When I lived north, I used to take trips up to New York every fall to enjoy the beautiful foliage.  I used to take my kids to either Bear Mountain to see the beautiful trees and lakes or to Warwick for apple-picking.  I believe that New York state is one of the most beautiful states in this whole country!  Northern NJ is also beautiful, especially by Ringwood State Park.  I lived about 7 miles from there and brought my kids there regularly. 

Leaf-burning was not allowed in NJ, so that was never an issue.  Enjoy the fall in your beautiful state!  turn

I live in NE GA and the leaves don't change much until almost November. Until then it's just hot. I love the colors of the fall and the cooler air, I just dread the allergies that come with it.

I found out it is $150 fine for an open container fire here in this area. On the other hand, the town will pick up your leaves. It is so beautiful here...I live 3 minutes from the Hudson River and also near many ravines. We have mountains nearby too. I am very happy here.

Sounds beautiful, Joan. We had our leaves picked up in NJ as well; no burning allowed. I'm glad you are happy there. I absolutely love the mountains in the Northeast!

73 this am but 77% humid.Later in the day the temp will be 105 but 18% humid.......This heat is killing me..........

Wow, SnowyLynne; 105 sounds oppressive.  Temps like that can wreak havoc on various medical conditions.  Hope you get some cooler weather soon!
