Are you speaking of things like Sudafed and Claritin-D? Sudafed and the medicines with D in their names contain pseudephedrine, a decongestant. Unfortunately, that medication can be used to make methamphetamine, so in an effort to control that use, it now has to be kept behind the pharmacy counter. You can still get it, you just have to ask the pharmacist for it.
