I'm allergic to a coworker/questions about contacts

Not really, but I'm allergic to some kind of product she uses.

I have pretty general environmental allergies (along with some rather annoying medical ones), most pollens or strong sprays will cause them to bother me. I also have a coworker who is laying on quite heavily some sort of spray (probably hairspray but possibly perfume). She often ends up ringing on the register next to me, so my entire shift is torture (especially if I go in with my contacts on).

Is there any polite way to discuss this with either her or my bosses? I don't want to seem like a jerk, but I'm not sure if there's a more tactful method than "Hey, new person, lay off the hair spray."

I also am trying out contacts and find my eyes get dry and red a lot faster (especially around allergens). I have astigmatism, so I need toric lenses, but I LIKE wearing contacts as opposed to trying to keep my glasses on my nose. But, I have to deal with cigarette smoke from my mom and all sorts of stuff from above coworker and some customers. Any advice here?

In general I've been told not to wear strong scents (especially to interviews) no matter what the industry. And I'm not sure how to phrase that nicely when referring to hair spray. But thanks.
