Approval to start Xolair

I got a call yesterday from my pulm office. I got approval to start XOLAIR! I will be waiting for them to call today and see what my copay will be. XOLAIR is really expensive, so I still might not be able to start it if the cost is too much. Anyone with experience with XOLAIR, I would love to hear from you. My dose will be 2 shots every 2 weeks and they have to be done at a hospital due to the high risk of anaphylaxic reaction. They also told me it could be the rest of my life every 2 weeks. The drug is so new that so far, they haven't decided if people would ever be able to stop the shots or not.
