See even here we can't agree on the endoscopy hurting, for me it does hurt
it totally burnt my throat and I had to be put on steroids and antibotics 2 days later as
I was so imflammed I could not eat for 5 days and water hurt going down...and my GI doctor
wouldn't take my husbands calls and I couldn't talk, so my pcp had to order the antibotic and steroids.
I hope it will not be painful to you...but it is more evasive then getting your sinsus looked at...
anyways I hope you'll keep us posted as to what you'll do...
and I hope your feeling better soon...

Wow, Chartreux! They must of scratched you for you to have so much issue with it.
I've had three in one year and all I got was a little irritation that was cured with a milkshake.
It just goes to prove not every situation is the same for everyone.

The doctor said I may have a dairy allergy because I said the coughing phlegm went down a little when I didnt eat dairy, or he just said it is all normal. I should have asked is it normal to turn green... (not that I turn green lol) he just said everything was normal all those symptoms.

I will await the lab result and should he just say nothing worthwhile again I will see a specialist.

PS: Dairy does cause more mucus for some people.

Lactaid for lactose intolerance, I have been taking it for years, before anything dairy. It helps a lot.

Re. the endoscopy. I have had two and neither of them hurt at all, no discomfort even. But with every medical procedure there are risks (as you will read in all the information you are given by the hospital). It may depend a lot on the doctor and how proficient he is. Always ask how long he has been doing this procedure and how many he has performed. Try to get an experienced doctor who has done many, then ask if he has had many problems arising from this procedure and how likely it is that you will have any problems afterwards.
