I also had mild asthma for about
10 years before starting hormone replacement. Only had a real problem with asthma after taking hormone replacement. I am concerned that I have been taking asthma preventatives Seratide twice daily and Spriva once daily for many years and now have skin problems. My arms are easily bruised and skin broken very easily my doctor says this will be due to the steroids in my asthma medication. I now only take Spriva once a day and hope that I may return to the days when I only used Ventolin occasionally. I no longer have that continual tight feeling in my chest however and seldom cough much to my husbands relief.Wish one of my doctors had realised that as an asthmatic I should not take HRT. I have been interested to read the comments re asthma on this site.
