They can be good for a person newly diagnosed with Asthma. They use it in children mainly because children don't know how to inhale properly. They are really not that important as long as you know how to properly inhale an inhaler.

aerochambers help inhalers work better.My dr explained to me that aerochambers help to make med particlea smaller so they are breathed in more efficently instead of just going to your tongue.I do use Proventil HFA that doesnt need an aerochamber .
