just was told to take allegra

DR told me to take coricidin to dry up fluid in my ears but pharmacist said to take allegra instead
what do you all think

Well, they are both antihistamines except Coricidin has acetaminophen as well as chlorpheniramine. While Allegra has fexofenadine with no acetaminophen. So it depends on which one you want to use and which one works better. If the Coricidin doesn't seem to be working well enough, try Allegra, if Allegra doesn't work that well, try Zyrtec. It's about trial and error.

I don't really know nor could I tell you. They are both good medicines and basically they are the same thing but with different compounds. You will just have to try and see which one works better for you.

i was on allegra for about 8 years. it really helped my allergies- mostly my animal ones. i noticed that just taking a vitamin c tablet twice a day helped me MORE though. once in the morning and once at night.

Did the doc tell you to take Coricidin because you have high blood pressure?

yes i do have high blood pressure
pharmiscist said the allegra would be fine is that false

any clue if you can take allegra 24 with high blood pressure

If the pharmacist said it would be fine, than it probably will be fine.

k jjust making sure only thing that raised my pressue in the past was sudefed
but my blood pressure is controled now with atentol and benicat
