Hi people
I have (among other things) Chronic Sinusitis, Allergic Rhinitis and a Deviated Septum (left side). I have noticed that when my sinuses get really clogged due to the high pollen count (or other factors) that I get this very intense loopy, foggy, "pressure" sensation in my head as if I was in a daze and can't think clearly. At times it feels like my brain is scrambled and my eyes get really buggy and unfocused.
It was like this for months during the severe allergy season we just came through and then let up for a little while but just recently I fogged a room (roaches) and once again my allergies began acting up again because of the chemicals. For the last 3 days I've had this horrible foggy, loopy, fuzzy, "pressure" feeling in my head along with buggy vision and just this afternoon (sorry to be so graphic) I could feel huge globs of mucous draining down from my sinuses and gradually all the fuzzy, foggy, loopy, "pressure" feelings in my head began to go away.
My question is this...does any of this sound familiar?. Is all of what I've described here pretty normal for someone with sinus problems?. I mean, the triggers, the way the symptoms develop/resolve with drainage, etc.
- Thanks, Seth
