I've been having several symptoms in relation to seasonal allergies. My symptoms are: Itchy/watery eyes, stuffy nose, sneezing, mucus buildup in throat, diarrhea/loose stools, nausea, and headaches every now and then.
The moment I wake up in the morning, my stomach starts to make several gurgling sounds. Not long after, I have to rush to the the bathroom. My symptoms seem to be worse in the morning and dissipate as the day goes on. Around 12:00-3:00, I feel fatigued and drowsy. My stomach starts to gurgle again but when I make it to the bathroom, I get constipated. My family practice doctor tells me its just nerves and that I need to learn how to meditate. I spent all of last year studying and practicing meditation and it calmed my nerves but the allergy symptoms were still there. I am currently not on allergy medication. The last time I was on Claritin, it seemed to clear my nose but it didn't do much else but make me fatigued. I'm on an anti nausea medication called Promethazine. It helps for a couple of hours and my symptoms return. I'm on Paroxetine to calm my nerves and panic attacks, but I believe my panic attacks are just shortness of breath caused by seasonal allergies. I've had multiple blood tests done and every time it came back negative, which was bitter sweet. I have not yet had an allergy test in my life but working on getting one withing the next week or two. I have a colonoscopy coming up and by doing research online, it looks like the colonoscopy won't do much good in helping find the problem.
