DRY DRY mouth and throat - ugh

i have the dryest throat and mouth ever. i have had this before but it's driving me crazy!!!

is this antihistamines or anxiety? i have been taking zyrtec but omg it makes me feel like i can't swallow. of course, the more i focus on it, the more it bothers me. my doc just says itis the antihistamines - i don't know.

I do believe that an antihistamine like zytec has some anticholnergic properties which may be causing the sympotms of dry mouth that you are experincing. I do believe most anti histamines have somewhat of an anticholnergic effect. depending on why you are taking it, you could try to switch to something like a decongestant or something like singular. I assume you are not taking any other medications that are anticholnergics which could be worssing the symptoms.
