Hi fellows, being 6 month on Humira (13 doses)I've developed high sunsensitivity to Humira (for Crohn's) although first got allergy only in shots' sites, but general sensitivity get stronger and stronger when after 13th shot, in mid July 2012, it got unbearable condition, my face and chest were on fire, all over with hives, patches and blisters, I couldn't sleep for 3 days, with itching, burning pain. Was given dexa and tavegil intrashots and 3-days prednizon course, some relieve came, Humira was cancelled, but then again after few minutes expose outside while going to my car, with all possible guards (spf 70, hat, unmbrella) got a similar condition again and again and needed the same treatment (dexa and tavegil intrashots and 3-days prednizon course), had to see a doctor once a week and the situation repeated. During late autumn and winter there was almost no sunshine and I improved, gradually, my mood too. I winter I switched to topical steroids, although my allergist does not approve much to it, but dermatologist does. All this time, for 8 months, I still almost haven't go outside, but last 2 weeks I could go to fresh air some 2-3 times/day although still with all guards and for very short time in a car, but this already was SOMETHING for me, I felt euphoric and optimistic, did believe that this condition will go away with time. For some time I haven't had hives, just red patches, but from Sunday I noticed some bad signs and now with hives again all over my face and feel hopeless. Allergist do not agree that this is allergy as I developed secondary dermatitis and keep forwarding me to dermatologists, while dermatologists keep saying that this solar urticardia. I know that I have both, but could not trust doctors, they do not want to see me and say that they are not able to help me, could only hope that this condition will clear up with time. I got reaction from UVA, UVB and from heat, meaning could not exercise, take bath/shower, cook, stand heat from heating in winter time/in a car, etc., my face skin got irrecoverable damage, I am not talking about
outside activities or job, it is even difficult to do smth at home, I feel totally broken. Please, if somebody else had or have similar condition, I beg you, please respond and share your experience, meaning how long it took to clear up (and how long you were on Humira before got such condition), or, if you are such a poor fellow as me, how long do you have it, and how are you dealing with it. I hope that your's experience will give me some hope or some courage to scope with this situation.
