My allergists gave me shots every 1-2 months for 22 years

Hi,
I am 49 years old and I am allergic to dust mites since I remember myself.
My allergists gave me shots every 1-2 months for 22 years, and I felt much better.
Last year I stopped getting the shots, and after about a year I felt very sick,
So three month ago I started getting the shots again, but only now I get the maximum dose once a month.
Do you think that there is a chance for me to feel better again as I felt before I stopped the shots?

My allergist has me taking the shots every week. I have a sort of table from her that says how much I should get if I am off the shots for 2 weeks, a month, and more. I have to start at a lower dose if I am off for a month to avoid a reaction.

Ask your doctor.
