Hello all,
My gf has been cooking and feeding us with epsom salt for two weeks now. When I saw her use it, I asked her about it and she told me it was sea salt. I read it and noticed that it was no sea salt and did some research on it and according to google, we will be fine it isn't dangerous at all but we just want to make sure since the whole miami bath salt incident has us a little paranoid.
It is Epsom Salt - magnesium sulfate u.s.p. MgSO4.7H2O
Myself and my gf have been thrown up within this time period, we thought it was a stomach virus or food poisoning at the time but now noticing it must have been related to this. My case was pretty scary, an entire day of heavy weakness, sleepiness, throwing up and upset stomach but I beat it over 24 hours and somehow did not affect me after even though we kept having it. My gf had the serious stomach virus like issues for 2-3 days and after getting over it has been having diarrhea and still feeling nauseated this whole time.
Is this thing edible? I see that people drink it for cleansing purposes but we had been eating it for two weeks now, not drinking it.
