Hi y'all...
This is my very first forum ever, lol. It's a long story, but I do want to cover all the basics, so please bare with me. Here it goes...
I just got my very first allergy test done and surprise, surprise I'm allergic to just about
everything.
I've never experienced any big allergies my whole life and then a few years ago I started slowly to develop seasonal allergies. It got progressively worse with every year and then last year I was diagnosed with allergic asthma.
I've also been suffering from some redness in my face that started in my very late 20's almost 30 (I'm now about
to turn 36) and the whole time I've been thinking that it was a case or rosecea. Until then I always had very nice skin and always got complimented on it.
When I was diagnosed with allergic asthma my doctor also put me on a 5 day treatment of prednisone and my skin almost cleared up completely!
Now that was a big surprise!! After that I knew that my skin problem was allergy related and that's why no rosecea creams helped at all. It took me another year to finally be able to get tested and expecting confirmation on grass and dust allergies, I also expected some other airborne pollen allergies.
Here came my complete and utter shock surprise... I'm allergic to SO MUCH food, it's scary!! (And I only had the basic panel done thus far).
I'm allergic to any kind of protein (meats, fish, dairy, egg, whole wheat, soy bean) even corn, banana, strawberry, chocolate, peanuts, tomato and so on... In other words everything I grew up eating and been eating all my life.
Now, none of it will kill me (food wise), but I still have to go cold turkey now to figure out what bothers me the most.
Here is the tricky part that I need help with. If I can't eat any kind of protein (meats, fish, milk, egg) and I'm also allergic to corn, whole wheat and soy bean, what am I left with??
I guess I'm asking... What can I eat (other than rice and potatoes)? I'm like a step down from a vegan... Lol.
I now this was a very long threat (especially for my first, lol), but does anybody out there have any experience with this or any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!!
