Good morning, Kyle. I sympathize with you on the weather. I'm in PA and stuck inside too.
Lots of things can cause chest pain. Hopefully someone will chime in about asthma because I don't have it. The stomach and esophagus can be irritated too. Even the large bowel transverse loop can possibly cause chest pain. And then there's all the referred pain, like pancreas ... well, google more. I'm not fond of blaming the ribs unless there was something like an accident. (I'm no doctor either!)
The stomach and esophagus, when irritated by a trigger food, can cause heart pain that the doctor won't detect unless you eat the thing right in front of him and have an EKG going.
Best advice I can give is see your allergist, and for free, keep a journal of what you eat, medicines, reactions, date and time. See if you can do some detecting on your own while we look outside at the snow.
Best wishes.
